# Fusers

**Private Solutions Fusers** — a display-fusion device combines video sources through a compatible fuser. The ports and setup vary by model, so start by identifying the exact unit you have.

### Before connecting anything

* Check the labels and product specifications for your fuser, source PCs, and display. Confirm the connectors and supported resolution/refresh rate.
* Power equipment down before connecting or changing cables. Match source/input and display/output ports; do not force a connector.
* Follow the instructions supplied for your exact model. Models are not interchangeable just because they look similar.

### Basic connection check

1. Connect each video source to the correspondingly labeled input.
2. Connect the fuser output to the display and select the correct monitor input.
3. Power on in the order specified by the model documentation, then confirm each source appears.

### Choose a model

Review current options and model-specific details on the [Private Solutions Fusers page](https://privatesolution.org/products/#hardware-fusers). For nearby accessories or bundles, see [Aim & Accessories](https://privatesolution.org/products/#hardware-aim) and [Hardware Bundles](https://privatesolution.org/products/#hardware-bundle).

### No picture or unstable picture?

Check the selected monitor input, power, cable direction, and each connection. Try one known-good cable at a time. If you still need a hand, [open a Private Solutions Discord ticket](https://discord.gg/XFEkf2kV26) with the fuser model, source/display models, cable layout, and a photo of the port labels.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://guides.privatesolution.org/dma-card-setup/fusers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
